Arriving to the Hotel Lammwirt

The Grossarl valley can be reached simply and safely. Follow our directions depending on which form of transportation you will use. 

By car

Take the Tauern motorway (Tauernautobahn)A10, coming from Salzburg or Villach to the exit Bischofshofen. Follow the main road (311, Pinzgauer Bundesstrasse) to St. Johann im Pongau. Upon arrival in St. Johann, turn off the main road at the junction to the Alpendorfstrasse direction Grossarl and follow this road to Grossarl. Take the third exit in the round about and drive approximately 500m until you reach the center of town. Then follow the road between the Hotel Alte Post and the Spar grocery store into the Ellmautal.

By train:

Bischofshofen - St. Johann im Pongau (train station), Continue (16km) by bus or by taxi.

By plane:

The Salzburg Airport is used by many airlines. Tuifly offers cheap flights from Germany to Salzburg. Once at the airport you can either rent a car, travel by train or take a taxi to Grossarl. We would be happy to help you find the best mode of transportation for you.
